Welcome to PHE’s GxP training area. Our elearning training modules are intended for personnel working in, or supporting, GxP areas and projects at PHE and replace the training that was historically provided in a face to face setting. PHE has a regulatory responsibility to provide training for all personnel whose duties take them into, or are responsible for, managing GxP areas and in addition, to other personnel who provide support to GxP areas including temporary employees and contractors (e.g. engineering/calibration, validation, ICT etc.) whose actions could have an impact on the compliance of the activities being carried out in those areas.
This programme provides access to a series of GxP training elearning modules for GxP study and support staff to fulfil this responsibility. The requirement for mandatory training in Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is every 2 years. The requirement for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) mandatory training is annual. The requirement for GxP support staff mandatory training is annual. Refer to SOP TFQA/013 or contact GxP QA for further guidance.
Each GxP training module has an associated assessment which must be completed and returned to TFM.QA@phe.org.uk for marking. After successful completion of the elearning module and associated training assessment the trainee will be provided with a training certificate.
