Introduction To The Principles Of All Our Health

This short introductory video explains how All Our Health provides a framework to:

  • care for individuals and local communities as well as larger populations
  • support all ages of the life course with the aim of improving health and reducing health inequalities
  • simply present evidence and guidance and show the impact health and care professionals can make on key public health topics.

All Our Health elearning Sessions

The All Our Health elearning sessions have been developed to provide a bite-sized introduction to the wide range of topics covered within the All Our Health framework. Within these sessions, you’ll find signposting to trusted sources of helpful evidence, guidance and support. You can dip in and out of the content as and when you need it.

Currently, there are 25 All Our Health elearning sessions available covering a wide variety of public health topics.

There are a wide range of other All Our Health topics which will be created into elearning sessions over the course of 2021 and 2022 and released as they are developed.  To view the full range of All Our Health topics, visit https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/all-our-health-personalised-care-and-population-health

All Our Health supports system wide priorities on prevention, including those within the NHS Long Term Plan, by providing support and practical guidance for all health and care professionals on how to embed prevention within their work, helping to reduce health inequalities, premature morbidity and mortality.

Supporting tools/resources' and add this toolkit:

The Embedding Public Health into Clinical Services programme is intended to support leaders and service managers to guide their teams through the process of re-designing services to support prevention.

Designed as a 5-step process, the programme provides a practical toolkit of useful resources to help individuals and their multidisciplinary teams identify their unique contribution and then implement quality improvement initiatives to transform services. The content is pragmatic and iterative, recognising the competing pressures on front line teams. The tools and resources highlighted can be useful in more than one stage of the 5-step process and will be inter-dependent with wider improvement initiatives https://www.e-lfh.org.uk/programmes/embedding-public-health-into-clinical-services/
